Q) For members who don’t know you, tell us a bit about yourself?
A) I’m Sarah, married to Paul also a SJ and we have two children, Holly almost 16 and Josh who is 13 and also a keen runner. I am the school secretary at St Michael’s Primary School.
Q) How and when did you get into running?
A) I first started running with the SJs when I was about 19 but stopped before I had the kids. I then decided to get back into running when Josh was 1. Paul decided to join me and we started training together and I joined the SJs for the 2nd time and Paul for the first time!
Q) What do you enjoy most about being a member of Sandhurst Joggers?
A) The friends that I have made and being part of a great club that is so inclusive and has so many runs available to you.
Q) On which of the weekly runs are we most likely to bump into you?
A) Mondays and Wednesdays and occasionally at track.
Q) You’ve ran over half of your parkruns at Bracknell, tell us what you like about that event?
A) I’m not a great fan of the course but tend to go there as it is the closest so don’t have to get up quite so early if i want to do a parkrun!
Q) Of the 7 other parkruns you’ve run, which was your favourite and why?
A) I really liked Poole Parkrun, it’s a nice flat fast course and set in the lovely Poole Park.
Q) What other events are on your programme for 2018 and 2019?
A) I only have Farnborough Half booked for next year so far but want to complete the last two cross countries to complete the set and hope to try and do most of the handicaps.
